Now you’ll want to go onto the Mac/PC that you want to stream on and download the tool from the Remote Play website. Download whichever platform that you’re on (Mac/PC) and just double click to install it. Once install, go ahead and open up the application.

Before you try to connect, be sure to go into the preferences if you want to change the resolution (you probably do) to 720p and “high” framerate which is 60 fps. The resolution is obviously is one limitation of streaming, but in a pinch it’s still worth your while.

Now all you have to do is sign in and if you’re on the same network, then the app will automatically discover the PS4. If it doesn’t then you can manually pair the computer with the PS4 by hopping on your PS4 and going to Settings > Remote Play > Add Device and enter that unique code in the box on your computer.

Once it connects, you’re all set! It should start streaming whatever is on your PS4. While I used it, I noticed no input lag or dropped framerate, the only downside for me was that it was only 720p. Other than that, I think it’d definitely a cool feature to have and to test out!
